Bret,
Hi, I read your blog all the time. We met at the Hawks blogger night. Any chance you can put a link to my blog up under your hawks blogs? Check it out when you have a minute - www.runningwithzaza.blogspot.com - thanks.
Was I the only person who slapped my forehead and shouted "NO NO NO!" when Mo Evans picked up his fourth foul during a hot-shooting third quarter, and 'Nique said "Ahh, got to get him out. That's unfortunate."
Yes, yes, it's unfortunate, because 1) He was pulled, 2) he didn't have to be, 3) he ended the game with four fouls, and 4) when he returned, he didn't score any more points.
There was a fast break opportunity shortly after where the ball was kicked to Murray wide open in the corner, and the three fell short. I couldn't help but think that Evans would definitely have made that, with his hot shooting. Flip did at least make up for it with a couple of nice shots later in the quarter, but it still doesn't justify needless substitutions.
