Horford’s sprained right ankle was “better than expected” at Thursday’s practice, according to Hawks coach Mike Woodson. But he said that he would start Solomon Jones if Horford does not play...No new Marvin Williams information this morning. I assume he'll see what he can do at shootaround and a decision will be made at that time.
Horford said the Hawks’ training staff did such quick work on the injury after he landed awkwardly in the second quarter of Game 5 Wednesday, that he felt much better than expected Thursday morning.
“It’s better,” Horford said. “I think I’ll be ready to go Sunday either way.”
