OTHER PERSPECTIVES: ClipperBlog, Clips Nation
PREVIOUSLY, THE LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS...lost to their trading partner, the Portland Trailblazers, 109-87 in Portland last night. None of the players involved in the trade played in the game. It was the ninth loss in the last ten games for the Clippers.
The Hawks beat the Clippers 103-97 on February 3rd in Atlanta. The now departed Marcus Camby had 20 rebounds (10 offensive) and 6 assists for the Clippers in that game. That was also the last game that Mike Dunleavy, Sr. coached. The four games under interim coach Kim Hughes have all been lost by at least ten points, by an average of just under 20 points per game, and by 21.7 points per 100 possessions.
Consider this an open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game (but pre-recap) thoughts.

are the hawks ever going to learn to just run the game through horford and smith when they're having nights like this or will we always be subjected to jamal or joe spending the opening 16 seconds with the ball followed by the other two getting the ball out of position late or fighting for offensive rebounds?
The latter. Unless Joe Johnson leaves via free agency and Sund has to trade Crawford to create sufficient cap room to replace Johnson.
