PREVIOUSLY...the Charlotte Bobcats have won 8 of 13 games since being freed from the tyranny of making the playoffs despite an astounding lack of offensive talent under former head coach Larry Brown who was, this season, guilty of failing to make the team better despite the front office replacing Raymond Felton and Tyson Chandler with Shaun Livingston and Kwame Brown.
Yes, Larry Brown (.458 winning percentage as Bobcats head coach) was the man holding this franchise (.343 winning percentage in games not coached by Larry Brown) back.
New head coach Paul Silas has led the Bobcats to exciting wins over such NBA powerhouses as Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, Washington, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Chicago twice. Okay, that last item is quality. Six of the eight wins under Silas have come at home.
The Hawks beat the Bobcats 90-85 in Atlanta on December 17th.
Consider this an open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game (but pre-recap) thoughts.
