PREVIOUSLY...the New Orleans Hornets beat the Memphis Grizzlies 103-102 in overtime at home on Wednesday night. It was the sixth straight win for the Hornets and the third of those wins to come after overtime.
New Orleans started the season 11-1 and have won 9 of their last 11 with a 4-13 stretch serving as the sadness meat in their season sandwich.
The Hornets beat the Hawks 93-86 in New Orleans on December 26th, a game most memorable for Maurice Evans being inserted in the game for the purposes of guarding Chris Paul.
